Pernod Ricard
Pernod Ricard is one of New Zealand’s leading wine companies with iconic brands including Brancott Estate and Stoneleigh.
Brancott Estate sees wine differently, unlocking a world of opportunity in a region considered too cold for grapes. Since planting the first Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir in 1975, Brancott Estate has continued craft striking wines to suit every occasion, including naturally lower alcohol, sparkling, organic, oak-infused and age-worthy expressions of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. In addition they have led the revival of Sauvignon Gris, an almost extinct varietal now enjoying a global resurgence. This relentless desire to capture the bright, fresh flavour of Marlborough has seen Brancott Estate wines enjoyed in more than 50 countries around the world.
Stoneleigh Vineyard is situated in the heart of the Rapaura area on the northern side of the Wairau valley in Marlborough, New Zealand. Within 2km of the Wairau River and the Richmond Ranges, our home lies within an area known locally as the ‘Golden Mile’ of vineyards. As evidence of an ancient riverbed, Stoneleigh takes its name from the stones that cover our vineyard – land that’s now home to some of the oldest grafted Sauvignon Blanc blocks in Marlborough. The stones store and reflect the sun’s heat up into the vines, enhancing the ripening process and contributing to the unique taste of Stoneleigh wines.
